From French painter’s exhibition to dancing the night away to British DJ, there's no shortage of events to fill your diary with this weekend.

Galeri Nasional Indonesia teamed up with Institute Francais Indonesia and present French painter Genevieve Couteau’s art exhibition entitled “The Orient and Beyond” from January 25th until February 14th. Timing: 10am – 7pm.

Komunitas Salihara is staging a special musical entitled “Musical Enchantment: A Harp Concert from Serbia” by Irina Pejoska on January 27th. Timing: 8pm.

On January 27th, Erasmus Huis is inviting all music lovers to watch Dutch musician Blaudzun’s live performance, who has sold out shows at huge festival like Pinkpop, Lowlands, Pukkelpop and Rock Werchter. In this performance Blaudzun will also be joined by Jakarta Keroncong Tugu Cafrinho. Timing: 7.30pm.

If you are looking to dance the night away then don’t miss out on British DJ James Zabiela who is coming over Jenja Jakarta on January 27th.


Indoestri Makerspace is hosting a myriad of workshops on January 27th, such as watercolour botanical illustration with monster buaya, intermediate embroidery with Jane Utari and modern calligraphy with gold foiling with Veronica Halim. Don’t miss out!
