Located in the tranquil Spanish village of Deià, Mallorca, Belmond La Residencia is adding another art installation to its Sculpture Garden, further strengthening its connection to the Spanish art scene, from today until November 8th.

The exhibition, entitled “The Bosch Temptations”, has been created by the Award-winning Spanish sculptor Marcelo Arce and pays homage to the famous artist Hieronymus Bosch on the 500th anniversary of his death. The collection, which is recreated in bronze, will be on display for hotel guests, visitors and residents’ to enjoy. The hotel’s Sculpture Garden is also one of Spain’s largest permanent sculpture gardens with a growing number of art pieces open to the public and tours.

The sculptor himself is a fine arts graduate from the San Fernando Royal Academy, Madrid, and has worked as an engraving and sculpture teacher. His work has been exhibited in numerous museums, galleries and art centres across Spain, France and Portugal. Elsewhere, Belmond La Residencia is renowned for its strong roots to the art community in Mallorca, where it houses restaurants, guestrooms, gardens and galleries surrounded by olive and citrus groves and nestled in the hills of a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Aside from observing the art installations, guests are encouraged to embark on a relaxing journey and develop new skills by taking part in a range of tailored experiences, such as sculpture or painting master classes, cookery classes, a trek of Serra de Tramuntana World Heritage Site, and much more.
