To celebrate its third anniversary on April 6, the 101 Sedayu Darmawangsa Hotel in Kebayoran Baru will present a live concert featuring Naif, the pop band of the mid-90s famous for its sound that is reminiscent of the 60s and 70s at the Terraza Lounge. Tickets: Rp350;000; showtime: 8pm.
On April 7, Judika, Nia Daniaty, Joy Tobing, and friends with a musical arrangement by Kristify Orchestra, will re-enact your magic moments with the “Golden Love Song Concert” at Balai Sarbini Plaza Semanggi, Jakarta. Heart Production has set the ticket at Rp250,000, Rp500,000 and Rp1m. Showtime: 8pm.
The Irish rock band famous for its hit “The Man Who Can’t Be Moved” is back with “The Script Freedom Child Tour Live” at The Kasablanka Hall, Kota Kasablanka Jakarta on April 10. Tickets range from Festival at Rp850,000, Golden Priority Class at Rp1.25m, and Diamond VVIP at Rp2.5m; showtime: 8pm.
Adiwastra Nusantara 2018, the annual Indonesian traditional cloth exhibition, will run for four days (from April 11) at Hall A and Hall B of the Jakarta Convention Center. The comprehensive exhibition of traditional fabrics from all over the archipelago will celebrate batik, weaving, tie-dyeing, and knitting.
On April 12, Russo-German record producer, DJ, and multi-instrumentalist cum songwriter Zedd will sway party animals with his amalgamated electronic dance music at the Coliseum, the downtown nightspot of Jakarta. Zedd’s Asia Club Tour 2018 fling will rave from 10pm to 5am; tickets are set at Rp500,000.
Dance Prix Indonesia is back to woo creative and potential dancers in a three-day ballet and contemporary dance competition at Gedung Kesenian Jakarta on April 13. It will feature the best cuts and a special performance by the lead dancers of the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, Susanna Salvi and Claudio Cocino, courtesy of the Embassy of Italy and the Italian Cultural Institute.
Global music impresario AEG Presents will stage “Katy Perry Witness: The Tour Comes to Asia” on April 14. Held at Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE), Tangerang, Banten, it will be the diva’s third concert in Indonesia after performances in 2012 and 2015. Tickets range from Rp900,000 to Rp5m.
On April 28, rhythm and blues musician Brian McKnight will demonstrate his impressive falsetto and belting range in the “Intimate Concert – Up Close and Personal” World Tour 2018 two-evening concert at the Telkom Landmark Tower in Jakarta. Tickets for the solo concert range from Rp500,000 to Rp2.5m; showtime: 8pm.
