November sparkles with interesting programmes that swings from Tracy Letts’ Pulitzer Prize drama “August: Osage County” to Guns and Roses concert and Kenny G Live in Jakarta. 

The 9th production of Teater Pandora’s Rumah Rahasia Perempuan, an adaptation of the 2008 Pulitzer Prize-winning August: Osage County by Tracy Letts, will be staged for three days at Graha Bhakti Budaya, Taman Ismail Marzuki Jakarta. Date: November 2, Tickets: Rp100,000-Rp1m; showtime: 7pm.

On November 2, Norwegian DJ, record producer, and songwriter Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll, better known as Kygo, will stage his first concert in Jakarta at Hall C3 of JIExpo Kemayoran. Sharing the stage with him is Canadian DJ Frank Walker. Promoter Euphoric Events and Frisson have set the tickets prices at Rp2.5m; showtime: 8pm. 

Salihara Art Community, in a joint programme with the Jakarta Art Council, presents Indonesia Composers Week, a three-day workshop, public discussion, and music concert to encourage and promote works by young music composers. Date: November 2, Venue: Teater Salihara; time: 7pm.

On November 6, a production by CK Star Entertainment, the “One Night Only Kenny G Live in Jakarta” concert will pamper sax aficionados with hits by the top-selling instrumental musician. Venue: The Kasablanka; tickets: bronze at Rp800,000 to Prima VVIP at Rp8m; showtime: 8pm. 

The iconic Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Stadium in Jakarta will light up with the first leg of the Guns N’ Roses “Not In This Lifetime Tour 2018” concert on November 8. Promoters UnUsUaL Entertainment & TEM have set tickets prices from Rp 905,000 to Rp 6,510,000; showtime: 8pm.

On November 9, American R&B singer-cum-songwriter Khalid Donnel Robinson will present his first concert in Jakarta at the Istora Sports Palace to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the Ismaya Group. Accompanying him on stage will be Barasuara and Inspire Artistry All Stars. Tickets: Rp1.5m– Rp2m; showtime: 8pm.

On November 14, The 51st Annual Charity Bazaar 2018, organised by the Women’s International Club, will take place at Exhibition Hall B of Balai Sidang Jakarta Convention Center. Fifty-six embassies in Jakarta and prominent local vendors will showcase high-quality items from Japanese kimonos to Swiss chocolate to French wines to Ecuadorian roses. Opening times: 11am-9pm.
