On April 20 at Fairmont Jakarta, R.O.L.E Foundation will be hosting a Kartini Day Masquerade Gala to raise funds for its Bali WISE programme, which was established to empower underprivileged Indonesian women. This year’s theme is “Unmask the Potential”.

The gala will see free-flow wine served, as well as gourmet canapés, a four-course dinner, and an evening full of entertainment. There will be also auctions for nights at five-star hotels, luxury cruises, and exclusive spa treatments.

Bali WISE is a programme that provides free skills and education to marginalised women throughout Indonesia. The aim of the programme is to train and advise young women in preparation for an independent life regardless of their origin. Through six months of intensive training, Bali WISE equips these young women with skills in the English language, IT, hospitality, and business. Following its establishment in 2007, Bali WISE has helped more than 1,200 Indonesian women acquire employment and achieve a sustainable income.
