The V8-powered Aston Martin DB11 was awarded as the “Best coupé for more than £50,000” category at the 40th annual What Car? Awards, held on January 24th. The DB11 has always been the most complete and sophisticated car Aston Martin ever created, credited for making profits for the British luxury carmaker. Now, the addition of a V8 engine has broadened its appeal even more, making it better than ever.

The V8 engine propels the DB11 from 0-62mph in just 4.0 seconds and produces 510PS (503BHP) and 675Nm of torque. “'It is always gratifying to receive recognition from within the automotive industry. We are very proud of the success of the DB11. The DB11 is the most complete and sophisticated car Aston Martin has ever made and now, with this new V8 engine option we have broadened its appeal. The V8-powered DB11 is a remarkable Aston Martin,“ as stated by Aston Martin President and Chief Executive Officer, Andy Palmer. Congratulations!
