It seems the year 2016 is all about adorning your vehicles with lavish trims. Bentley teams up with Mulliner Operations offering a chance for their discerned customers to deck out their rides with state-of-the-art stone veneers.

The slate and quartize stones are hand-picked from Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh in India, where they have been split from larger pieces and cured using glass fibre and a bespoke resin. The stone surfaces are just 0.1 mm thick, which means they are lightweight as well as translucent – a contemporary feature perfect for luxurious cars. The final product will be shaped and finished at the company’s headquarters in Crewe, England.

The exclusive offer is the brand’s way to answer the demands of bespoke models for their distinguished customers, stating that the stone veneers are only the beginning of their journey to explore and utilize fine and rare materials for their brand.

The Mulliner’s stone veneer is designated for Bentley’s Continental and Flying Spur models and available in four different colours: Galaxy, Autumn White, Terra Red and Copper.
