Last month, luxury automobile company Aston Martin introduced its latest car, the DBS Superleggera, at the global launching in London. DBS Superleggera boasts Aston Martin’s lightweight construction structure technology collection — the DB 4, DB5, and DB 6 Mark I — and revived two iconic names which are DBS, the iconic name that first came up in 1967, and Superleggera, a touring famous icon that means ‘super light’ in Italian.DBS Superleggera (10).jpg

As the leading player in Super GT’s class, DBS Superleggera features a wide range of high-profile expertise for personalization through a large selection of options. Wrapped with carbon fiber body panels that are neatly formed, DBS Superleggera delivers incredible power and torque to the rear wheels through a new eight-speed ZF automatic transmission mounted on the back. Its outstanding performance is also equipped with 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 engine positioned behind the chassis as possible to optimize the centre of gravity and weight distribution. In result, it’s capable of generating 715HP at 6500rpm and torque of 900Nm from 1800-5000rpm with maximum speed reaching 339KM / H. With advanced features such as mechanical limited-slip differential and torque vectoring, the DBS Superleggera is capable of generating responses like a supercar with GT refinements.DBS Superleggera (15).jpg

Meanwhile, the Alcantara steering wheel comes with Sport Plus wheel chair and has a flexible aromatic skin. There are two choices of standard alloy wheels, namely wheels 'Y' Spoke Forged and Lightweight Twin Spoke Forged wheels, which both are 21-inch diameter and fitted Pirelli tires developed specifically for DBS Superleggera. Elsewhere, Aston Martin’s DBS Superleggera is completed with keyless entry, tire pressure monitoring system, and 360-camera with parking distance display and park assist. For audio system, the ride has DAB, bluetooth audio, telephone streaming, iPod, iPhone, and USB.DBS Superleggera (27).jpg

It’s reported that the new Aston Martin’s DBS Superleggera is priced at US$300,000.
