Committed to providing the best in the luxury cars segment, Lexus established its F Division that specialises in the craftsmanship of performance cars and sports cars. After the successful launch of the Lexus RC F as part of the F Division, Lexus Indonesia recently introduced another premium ride, the GS F Sports Sedan to the market.
The GS F is powered by a V8, naturally aspirated, 5.0-litre engines that produces 467hp with a maximum torque of 530Nm at 4.800rpm. Lexus’ engineers also implemented the Otto and Atkinson Cycle to the engine, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, for optimum performance as well as maximum efficiency.
For design, the exterior features headlights equipped with three LED lightings, spindle grille surrounded with chrome and front fascia with bigger air drams. Meanwhile, from the side the GS F features strong 19” alloy wheels with rear combination lamp that is jet-black colour.
Interior wise, the car boasts semi-bucket seats along with a sporty steering wheel and entertainment features that include a 12,3-inch monitor and Mark Levinson audio speaker. Lexus first introduced the F vehicle series with the IS F sedan at the Detroit Motor Show in 2006 that made a significant impact in the Sports Luxury cars segment. The next milestone was the birth of LFA, a supercar from Lexus launched in 2009 that was manufactured limited to only 500 units worldwide.
Commenting on the new GS F car, General Manager of Lexus Indonesia Adrian Tirtadjaja said, “Although we import in limited units, we are very grateful to be given the opportunity by Lexus International to offer the IS F, RC F and GS F for our loyal customers especially our Lexus enthusiasts.”
