The new Mercedes-Benz GLE SUV models are available in two variants: the Mercedes-Benz GLE 400 Exclusive and the Mercedes-Benz GLE 250 d. The GLE 400 is equipped with a 3-litre, 6-cylinder engine, which delivers an output of up to 333hp in combination with a top speed of 247kph. Meanwhile, the GLE 250 d boasts four cylinders producing 204hp and 500nm, and offering superior performance with a top speed of 212 kph.

The new models are also environmental friendly, equipped with a feature that allows oil and water pumps to be activated on demand to reduce fuel consumption and untreated emissions. The use of 9G-TRONIC on the diesel engine of the GLE 250 reduces fuel consumption by up to 7 per cent compared with its predecessor.

On the exterior, the structure is enhanced with a C-pillar, integrated rear-side window with radiator grille, bumpers, headlamps, wings, and a bonnet with two power domes to complete its look. Furthermore, the front and rear bumpers are fitted with a three-dimensional chrome-look ride, while new LED headlamps and tail lamps are also available.

Prioritising comfort, the new GLE models boast more legroom for drivers and passengers alike with its spacious cabin and boot space. Interior wise, the car is equipped with 20.3 media display screen as well as a sporty 3-spoke multifunction steering wheel.

Ramping up the safety features, the new GLE models offer Collision Prevention Assist Plus, which gives the driver a visual warning if other vehicles are careless, and an audible warning if a risk of collision is detected.

Additionally, a new feature called DownHill Speed Regulation (DSR) is also available, allowing the driver to set the speed of the vehicle to be maintained between 2 and 18km/hour with the help of engine and transmission controls as well as braking intervention.

The Mercedes-Benz GLE 400 Exclusive is priced at IDR 1,209 Billion and the Mercedes-Benz GLE 250 d is priced at IDR 1,099 Billion.
