Tropical prints continue to permeate designers’ lookbooks this season, but this time around they are imbued with gangster vibes.

At Coach, aloha florals and surfer seascapes were paired with black leather jackets pinned with badges and spray-painted with artist Gary Baseman’s graffiti.

While Junya Watanabe sent a gang of swaggering and heavily inked rockers down the runway—tatooed, literally, up to their eyeballs. At Loewe, the Ibiza-inspired fossil and fl oral prints were paired with party-boy coloured waterproof macs and driftwood necklaces to create a Balearic boytribe vibe.

The tropical 2.0 is less Honolulu and more street, skate and punk inspired.
