After replacing Hedi Slimane as Saint Laurent’s new creative director last April, Anthony Vaccarello has recently unveiled several black and white images as part of his new ad campaign.

The Italian-Belgian fashion designer opts for a clean slate, ironically, by featuring a bunch of models who bare it all in the pictures. The mellower and body-conscious silhouettes pictures still follow the designer’s earlier style —he previously worked at Fendi and Versus Versace— but also serve as well as a stark contrast to his predecessor’s grunge style and design.

The black and white images, which made their debut on the brand’s social media, were shot by American artist Collier Schorr in Paris. However, the two images are only teasers for the full campaign, which will include 15 fresh new faces and will be unveiled in time on the brand's Instagram page.

The designer is set to present his first spring/summer 2017 womenswear collection during the upcoming Paris Fashion Week in October. Will Vaccarello takes the iconic brand to a new era of minimalism? Only time will tell.
