Fendi's latest fall/winter menswear collection showcases the creation of two unique personalities—womenswear creative director Silvia Venturini Fendi and "Guest Artist" Karl Lagerfeld. The lifetime creative relationship between Venturini Fendi and her friend and mentor, Karl Lagerfeld, who has been a creative director for womenswear at the line for over five decades, is visible in every item in the collection.

Venturini Fendi feels that this is the right moment to bring sartorial formality back, but as always, with a Fendi twist.

Based on an original sketch from Lagerfeld, the show opened with a tailored jacket with shawl collar on one side and lapel on the other, setting the tone for the entire collection.

The collection is dominated by classic colours like black, beige, and brown. On the other hand, accents of red and electric blue displays Fendi's futuristic vision. "Dualism is in the DNA of Fendi, under every form," Venturini Fendi said.

Transparent and see-through materials were used to emphasise the free-flowing lightness of Fendi.

Knitwear and leather pieces are split by zippers, further highlighting the dualism and contrasting elements of the new collection.

The transition from transparent fabrics to organza is represented by a futuristic FF logo, which alternated with a calligraphic one.

Fendi echoes Lagerfeld again by featuring Cuban heels on cordovan or patent shoes. Also notable is the calligraphic FF logo decorating the edge of the shoes.

The Fendi man, according to the designer, is a functional traveller. He brings his essentials around into cases, studded, foldable, or defended by transparent covers.

Originally only made for women, Fendi’s legendary Baguette made its debut for men. Available from mini to maxi, the new Baguette bag is designed in precious croco or mink and Selleria leather. It can be worn cross-body, hand-carried, or as a belt bag.

The Peekaboo family also made an appearance along with its members and evolutions: X-Lite Fit and the new Essential for men.
