The 71st annual Cannes Film Festival officially kicked off in France last week and was opened with the psychological thriller Everybody Knows, starring Javier Bardem, Penélope Cruz, and Ricardo Darín. Australian actress Cate Blanchett was also named as the President of the Jury.

While on the red carpet, many of our favourite stars weren’t afraid to go big for this year’s festival. Celebrities from Julianne Moore to Lupita Nyong’o, along with supermodels like Kendall Jenner and Elsa Hosk, all looked stunning in their respective beautiful ensembles and jewellery. Although the festival continues until May 19, we have handpicked some of the most stunning celebrities at the festival in case you missed them.

The gorgeous Australian actress and President of the Jury wore a black lace Armani Privé gown—the same one she wore for the Golden Globes back in 2014. It was a rare sight to see an A-list star re-wearing a gown. However, this time she accessorised well with splendid Chopard earrings from its Red Carpet Collection plus an 18ct rose gold ring.
