The 73rd Venice Film Festival held at Sala Grande drew a slew of the world’s biggest movie stars who turned the heat up on the red carpet with their distinctive fashion style and utmost elegance.

First we had the sophisticated Amy Adams who dazzled in a Versace one-shoulder gown combined with Bulgari earrings in platinum along with a Serpenti bracelet in white gold for her new movie premiere Nocturnal Animal, directed by Tom Ford. Czech actress Eva Herzigova wowed in an Alberta Ferretti white gown with floral details as she joined the cast for the same movie.

Meanwhile, the breathtaking Alicia Vikander also stole the limelight, not only because she arrived with real-life boyfriend Michael Fassbender, but also with her Louis Vuitton peasant-style dress and a Bulgari dream high-jewellery ring and floral brooch in white gold with pear-shaped diamonds. The duos attended the premiere of The Light between Oceans, a romantic period drama based on the 2012 novel of the same name.

Hollywood starlet Natalie Portman wore a monochrome lace gown with intricate cut-outs from Valentino and paired it with classic accessories for her upcoming biopic movie Jackie. Elsewhere, the talented Dakota Fanning arrived in a sparkly, silver long dress from Miu Miu and paired it with a crystal-adorned belt for the Brimstone premiere.

British actress Naomi Watts looked glamorous for her The Bleeder movie premiere in an Elie Saab couture gown, while another British darling Gemma Arterton rocked emerald earrings from Chopard with a black gown by Stella McCartney at the same movie premiere.

Not missing out on the red carpet action was 17-year-old actress Lily-Rose Depp, who served up old Hollywood glamour in a bright-yellow sequined dress by CHANEL. The young actress stars in Planetarium opposite Natalie Portman, in which both actresses play medium sisters in 1930s France.
