In February, pop sensation Rihanna made big news with her streetwear-inspired collection entitled Fenty x Puma, which made its debut at New York Fashion Week. Supermodels like the Hadid sisters strutted on the catwalk, while notable names like Naomi Campbell, Anna Wintour and Pete Wentz were among those in the front row. And now instead of opting to release the second batch of her collection at NYFW, the “We Found Love” singer is eyeing a runway debut this fall in the upcoming Paris Fashion Week.
While the initial calendar for the Paris Fashion Week released by Chambre de Cynical did not include a slot for Puma, the calendar is known to shift a lot. So, we can hope to see the runway collection somewhere between September 27 and October 5.
However, RiRi and team will also be launching a series of Fenty x Puma pop-up stores come September 6. The seexclusive stores will open at Bergdorf Goodman and prestige retail outlet Footlocker Six: 02, and will then be on sale worldwide at Puma stores on September 7.
The fall runway show is predicted to blend Japanese street style, Goth, erotica and sport elements, and we can’t wait to see it!
Another Fall/Winter collection worth gazing over: Fendi's men's fall/winter collection is toying with style.
