From actresses to presenters decked out in bright colours, we are in love with many of them. And if you’re curious as to which, here we have compiled five colours that stole the spotlights on the silver carpet.
Pretty in pink
Pink is naturally a pretty colour and the celebrities seem to agree with this. At the SAG Awards, pink was everywhere as many actresses, including Emily Blunt, winner of Best Supporting Actress , chose to wear pink asymmetrical dress by Michael Kors. Other than Emily, Crazy Rich Asian’s’ Gemma Chan arrived in a soft pink dress by Oscar de la Renta. Meanwhile, Britt Baron of GLOW’s cast also looked fabulous in a pink Christian Siriano dress.
Yellow always steals the spotlight and that’s what Susan Kelechi Watson and Aja Naomi King did on SAG’s silver carpet. This is Us actress, Susan Kelechi wore a custom low-cut yellow dress by Christian Siriano. while twinning in colour with Aja Naomi King in a Ralph and Russo mustard- yellow asymmetrical dress.
Blue also managed to turn many heads especially as worn by Catherine Zeta-Jones and Rachel Brosnahan. Hand in hand with her husband, Michael Douglas, Catherine Zeta-Jones looked flawless in a high-cut dark- blue dress by Zuhair Murad. Another blue in the room was actress Rachel Brosnahan, who made our jaws drop by wearing a baby- blue dress by Dior and jewellery by Irene Neuwirth.
Actresses Jane Fonda and Sandra Oh looked nothing but hot, hot, and hot! Nominated in the Outstanding Performance in a Comedy Series category, actress, Jane Fonda opted for a red dress by Valentino and Gismondi’s jewels. Elsewhere, Sandra Oh, winner of Best Actress in a Drama Series, looked beautiful in a Jenny Packham red gown.
Last, but not least, is gold. Actresses Emma Stone and Patricia Clarkson looked so regal in gold. Nominee in Best Performance by a Female Actor, Emma Stone gave off royal vibes on the silver carpet by wearing a gold top and black trousers by Louis Vuitton. The same goes for Patricia Clarkson, who arrived in a striking Zuhair Murad haute couture gold dress.
