In November this year, the superstar Off-White designer and the Artistic Director of menswear at Louis Vuitton, Virgil Abloh, teamed up with the Sweden home furnishings company, IKEA, for the release of much-anticipated collection 'MARKERAD.’ Comprises of 15 home furnishing products – mirror, wall clock, a daybed to a cabinet, the collection distinctly manifests Abloh’s design sensibilities. In November this year, Adidas officially announced a collaborative partnership with Italian fashion house Prada, revealing a limited-edition Superstar and Bowling Bag – two catalog lynchpins of each respective brand. In November this year, Dior unveiled their latest collaboration with LVMH-luxury luggage house Rimowa. This limited edition collaboration between Dior and Rimowa fuses the best of both brands into a singular object of desire. Combining Dior’s iconic oblique motif and stylings with the iconic Rimowa cases, the collection ranges from small body bag to a cabin sized luggage and even a champagne cooler, the pieces are destined for cult stardom. The collection is also celebrating Rimowa’s heritage and establishment, meets Kim Jone’s vision of creating a world where art and culture meets luxury. In August this year, the American designer, Alexader Wang reimagined Bvlgari’s Serpenti Forever Bag as part of the 135-year-old house’s ongoing “Serpenti Through the Eyes Of” series of capsule collections. The six leather handbags, which include a shopper tote, a duette, and a two-in-one satchel, are available in white, black and mint green (an ode to Wang’s favourite perfume growing up, Bvlgari’s green tea), and feature a modern interpretation of the iconic Serpenti hardware. In September this year, the makeup mogul and the youngest self-made billionaire, Kylie Jenner, teamed up with the famous French fashion house, Balmain, for the release of limited edition palette.
