Kejora, a venture capital firm Sebastian founded with his four partners, announced the close of its second-round funds with a target size of US$80 million early this year. Under this lead, the venture capital firm has intensively invested in start-ups, from e-commerce sites to nancial technology platforms,that have gained traction in the Indonesian market. Sebastian guides start- ups from the venture capital’s headquarters in Slipi, West Jakarta, also dubbed “Slipicon Valley” due to its high concentration of technology companies. However, the Jakarta-based venture capitalist also sets its sights on investing throughout the region, with representatives present in the Philippines and Singapore.
