Stylish duo Olla Ramlan and Drg Devya Linda SpBM FISID dance into the location of our cover shoot wearing a pair of ripped jeans and a casual white T-shirt and bell-bottom trousers with a frilly black blouse. Trailing the two fashionistas are their little ones—Olla’s Sean, Aleena, and Adreena, and Drg Devya’s Aditya and Nabila.
Olla’s career as one of Indonesia’s leading entertainment artists and Drg Devya’s as the founder of Drg Devya Aesthetic Dental and Implant Center have played an important role in shaping them into the women they are today. However, their duties as mothers sit on the highest pedestal of their life goals.
Even so, and after all their years of hard labour, the two ladies have reached a tipping point in their work lives, which are set to escalate further considering Olla’s intention of developing her own clothing line and Drg Devya’s aspirations of opening clinics around Indonesia.
“I would like to be able to show the world that Indonesia too has aesthetic dental clinics that are of world-class standards,” explains Drg Devya, who is forever indebted to her husband and children for being her greatest support system. She firmly believes that behind every successful woman lies a great family.
Meanwhile, despite her busy working schedule and having to constantly be on the go, Olla prioritises her family needs first before fulfilling her duties as an artist.
“Family has always been my number-one priority, and before heading out for a busy day I ensure my three kids and husband are well taken care of. I also owe it to my team who make sure my day is scheduled well so I’m able to spend an ample amount of time with my kids,” she explains.
However challenging it might be to juggle between being a mother and career-oriented woman, enjoying the process is key to maintaining a balance between the two. Both women believe that quality time spent with the children amid busy schedules is important for their growth.
Olla enjoys spending much of her mornings with her three children—mornings, that are made up of drawing, walking, watching movies or simply just being around each other. Lucky also that Drg Devya is able to work and adjust her appointments around her children and husband, and she makes it a point to travel with them during their holidays.
