They are undoubtedly the most swipe-right of city slickers, stars and socialites, but the question is: can anyone pin them down?

Raline Shah

Why her? The daughter of businessman, diplomat and politician Rahmat Shah has a flourishing career as an actress and model. The renowned beauty was a finalist in Puteri Indonesia, also known as Miss Universe Indonesia, in 2008 and has starred in several major Indonesian movies.

Natural habitat Volunteering at Rumah Harapan Indonesia, an organisation that helps support critically ill children from low-income families. She recently became a board member of the non-profit group.

That’s not all She holds degrees in political science, and new media and communications from the National University of Singapore, so she’s not just a pretty face.

Farah Quinn

Why her? A celebrity chef and media personality, Farah has opened restaurants in the US (Arizona) and won awards for the super glamorous cooking programmes she presents on TV.

Psst Prior to training as a pastry chef, Farah completed a bachelor’s degree in finance. She’s one smart cookie.

Adinda Kuntadi

Why her? As founder of food, beverage and entertainment group Allin, Adinda has opened several nightclubs and trendy restaurants in Jakarta and Bali.

Psst She’s the youngest in her family, with two older brothers, so maybe she’s got something to prove.

Perk Her favourite hobby is travelling. She strives at least once a year to discover a fabulous new place, so get packing.

Anandita Makes

Why her? This holder of degrees in economics and psychology from Boston College in Massachusetts runs the finance department of her family’s hospitality business, Plataran Group, which is opening hotels and restaurants all over Indonesia.

Psst Got a sweet tooth? She has also launched her own French bakery, Passionnée.

Mesty Ariotedjo

Why her? Not just a fully qualified doctor, Mesty is also a super-talented harpist and acts as ambassador for the Indonesian Classical Music Foundation. She established a free music school for underprivileged children in Jakarta, Children in Harmony, and is also the youngest member of the World Economic Forum 2014 from Indonesia.

Psst She’s a brand ambassador for Lancôme, so she really does have the whole package.

Cindy Angelina

Why her? She co-founded Indonesia’s first vegan beauty brand, Esqa, with her best friend from childhood, Kezia Toemion. psst Her father, Herman Hery Adranacus, built businesses in property, palm oil and coal, so she’s got a good mentor.
