This jetsetting career is thanks to Cape and Kantary Hotels, the five-star hotel group with 21 resorts around the country that her family owns. “Often it’s just a day trip for me,” she says with a modest smile. “I used to stay for longer but now that I have a baby, I always want to rush back to Bangkok—although I think I should start bringing my husband and son with me so we can spend our weekends on the islands.”

Despite her love of beach life (and beachwear), Taechaubol cites London as her shopping Mecca. After doing a master’s degree at Imperial College, she knows her way around the British capital’s vast network of high streets as well as any local. “I love London. We’ve spent two months there every year since I was born, so it’s somewhere I’m very familiar with.”

Today, Taechaubol does most of her shopping in London, even when she’s sipping cocktails on a beach in Thailand. “There’s this one shop that I absolutely adore. They know my size and style, and ship all my clothes straight to my house in Bangkok, which takes the stress out of shopping. I’m very lucky.”
