Nurhayati Subakat is one brave lady: after quitting a stable job in a top beauty company in Indonesia, she went on to be the founder behind the bespoke beauty brand Wardah. As the CEO of PT Paragon Technology and Innovation, she now manages brands like Wardah, MakeOver, and Emina to name a few. Curious to know her secrets for healthy skin? Then don’t forget to watch the video on our YouTube channel.

At 68 years old, she is proud to say that many people still think she is under 60, and we couldn’t agree more. Her current beauty routine revolves around Wardah products, most notably the Renew You Anti-Aging series.

She uses the eye cream and treatment essence and finishes off with the night cream. For daytime, her routine is quite simple: she just uses the day cream as it already contains whitening properties and sunscreen to protect her skin from the sun’s harmful rays. She believes in mixing her foundation with BB cream as it will create textures that are lighter for her skin. When it comes to eyes and lip make-up, she prefers natural colours that blend in well with her skin tone, and she especially loves lip cream number 13 from Wardah for its nude tone.

Her advice for women over 30 is to start using anti-ageing products as soon as possible, and she also wants more women to start taking care of their skin as it will lead to them looking fresher and more high-spirited, which she hopes can motivate them to work more passionately and productively.
