My favourite watch right now is a Jaeger-LeCoultre Rendez-vous Moon Medium in yellow gold. I have runners-up —the Reverso One Cordonnet and a Grande Reverso Lady Ultra Thin—which I absolutely love, but I have a particular attachment to the Rendez-vous Moon.

My daughter has claimed my watches, but she will have to wait because she’s only four years old.

When I was eight, I wanted to join Doctors Without Borders, until I realised the sight of blood makes me faint.

The first timepiece I ever owned was a Mickey Mouse watch with a gold rim and leather strap. I still have it today. And as a child, I gave my father a Tintin watch. I’ve always liked watches, even as a youngster.

The last picture I took with my phone was a recipe in a book for a flourless chocolate cake with orange mascarpone. I should probably delete it.

If I were to choose a strap for my watch, it would be one dripping with diamonds.

The most memorable year in my life so far is 2012 - the year my daughter is born.
