“Why Qerja with a Q?” she asks. “Because we believe in Quality. Veronika Linardi started Qerja.com, a company review website in April 2014 with the aim of providing employees with the knowledge and background information required to prepare them before diving into a particular workplace. The company has recently received funding from Softbank and Indosat and is working with external partners such as Zalora, Uber and Rudy Hadisuwarno to further increase its prominence in the market, as well as reward users and promote the Qerja Privilege Member program.

How did you get the concept/idea for the business?

Since my background is executive recruitment, I speak to a lot of owners and HR users and discovered their pinpoints so I wanted to be able to help solve their concerns.

What lessons have you learnt from your success?

The biggest one I think is the fact that we can have it all in life, but at different timings.

What are your startup tips for young entrepreneurs?

WORK HARD. Work super hard, do a lot of research and get involved with the right team, the right investors and technology partners.

What has been Qerja’s best accomplishment till date?

I think it’s the fact that we are able to reach a wide base of people. Most of our traffic is organic and is user generated content.

What’s the one challenge that you constantly face with the growing e-commerce industry currently?

Finding the right team. It’s all about finding the right people to work with and who believe in your vision and who can scale the growth as you envision it to be.
