Andra Matin is a renowned Indonesian architect. He was born in Bandung in 1962 and graduated from the Architecture Faculty of Parahyangan University in Bandung. In 1988, he established Andra Martin Architects. Andra Martin won the IAI Award from the Indonesian Architects Association (IAI) in 1999 and in 2002 for his work on the Le Bo Ye Graphic Design office building and the Dua8 Building in Kemang, South Jakarta. Meanwhile, the Conrad Chapel in Bali, which he designed together with Antony Liu and Ferry Ridwan, and the Javaplant office in Tawangmangu, Central Java, have won three awards from IAI DKI Jakarta in 2006. In 2007, Wallpaper magazine’s Architecture Directory chose him as one of the world’s leading architects for the year 2007. Lastly, in 2008, Andra Martin again won three out of seven awards presented by the IAI.
