Anggun Cipta Sasmi

Anggun Cipta Sasmi is a singer-songwriter and one of Indonesia’s most prominent stars. She started singing at the age of 7 and found her breakthrough in Paris after leaving Indonesia in search of an international career. Her first international album was released in 33 countries and she became the best-selling album by an Asian singer outside of Asia. With five English and six French studio-albums, Anggun is the highest-grossing Asian artist outside of Asia. Anggun is also involved in numerous environmental and humanitarian works having been appointed a global ambassador of the United Nations twice.
