Born in April 3, 1958, Emmy Hafild, is an environmental and governance specialist. After pursuing a degree in agronomy from the Bogor Agricultural University in 1982, she joined the Green Indonesia Foundation, and by 1985 had become active in the Indonesian Forum for the Environment (known by its Indonesian acronym WALHI).
