Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono

Army General (Ret.) Prof. Dr. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono was Indonesia’s sixth president. He led the country for two terms from October 20, 2004, to October 20, 2014. Born in Pacitan, East Java, on September 9, 1949, he is married to Kristiani Herawati and they are blessed with two sons, Agus Harimurti and Edhie Baskoro. He founded the Democratic Party and, since November 2014, he has been President of Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI), an organisation headquartered in South Korea that focuses on the importance of maintaining a balance between economic development and environmental preservation.
