Jaquet Droz is no stranger to depicting wildlife on its famously artistic dials. But with the Petite Heure Minute Dragon, the Swiss watchmaker has gone one step further in its collaboration with fantasy illustrator John Howe, who is best known for his work on Peter Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit film series. A breathtakingly beautiful dragon has been micro- painted, with the help of the conceptual artist, onto two limited-series watches.
