Indonesia has long been recognized as one of the most beautiful places in the world with the number of tourist visitors consistently rising. This is being recognized by a leading Chinese tech company as it seeks to promote famous sites in the archipelago. ByteDance’s short video app TikTok and Indonesia’s Ministry of Tourism have announced that they are teaming up to create a series of programme with the aim of promoting 10 must-see Indonesian destinations.
One f the heads of Indonesian Ministry of Tourism “Wonderful Indonesia” co-branding team, Priyantono Rudito, said that this programme is the first in a series of collaborations to promote the stunning sites of Indonesia. While TikTok had some trouble with the Indonesian government last year, this is an exciting new partnership that is aimed at bringing more tourist from Korea, China, and other Asian countries.
