The tickets to Domingo’s performance sold out in less than three hours.
Leading up to the November premiere of Les Misérables, several musicals and concerts are already lined up to keep audiences entertained. Georges Bizet’s The Pearl Fishers and Coppélia performed by The Russian State Ballet and Orchestra of Siberia will be staged in September. Superstar singer Hussain Al Jassmi performs in October.
Located in Downtown Dubai, one of the most prestigious locations in the world, Dubai Opera will be able to seat some 2,000 audience members for theatre performances and 1,000 guests for gala dinners. In addition to musicals, the Dubai Opera will also host various world-class performances including operas, plays and concerts.
Designed by veteran architect Janus Rostock, the Dubai Opera is the centrepiece of the Opera District in Downtown Dubai. Dubai Opera provides a one-of-a-kind experience for those travelling to Dubai.
