Since 1887, Raffles Singapore has welcomed famous guests from celebrities, politicians and even members of royalty, such as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. With its signature Raffles butlers and liveried Sikh doormen, Raffles Singapore will always be remembered for its charming and graceful services that fulfil every request, both ordinary and extraordinary. Not to mention its classically elegant colonial style.

Through the decades, Raffles has spread its brand to many other parts of the world, with Jakarta one of them. Now, to celebrate the Singapore hotel’s milestone, a series of special events will be held at Raffles Jakarta. A range of exciting dining experiences awaits guests to create special memories while celebrating the brand’s 130th anniversary. Raffles Jakarta will bring you the Raffles Culinary Journey, the Around the World Sunday Brunch, with guests able to indulge in the signature culinary style of each Raffles hotel destination, like Istanbul, Paris, Siem Riep and Singapore.

Raffles Jakarta has invited Chef Mickael Le Calvez for a very special Sunday brunch by Arts Café on September 10. In addition, a new fine arts programme has also been launched by Raffles Jakarta entitled The Classical Music Soiree. Every month, talented musicians will be featured in The Writer’s Bar so they can be a part of the timeless beauty of classical music at Raffles.

The celebrations continue towards the end of the year when the 130 Years Garden Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held. The spectacular ceremony will take place by the pool, with Christmas choirs and a lighting spectacle. Raffles will also bring back its legendary Christmas dishes from the hotel’s past.
