Throughout the Jazz Age of the 1930s and 40s, the St. Regis New York played host to some of the finest jazz musicians of the time, like Count Basie, Duke Ellington and Buddy Rich, all of whom wowed the crowds at the hotel’s rooftop ballroom.

Inspired to recreate this magical era, the St. Regis Bali is launching “Jazz Weekends”, which will be held every Friday, Saturday and Sunday starting this month and which will run until May. The resort has chosen Jimmy Rougerie, a talented saxophonist and vocalist who has previously worked at several prestigious hotels around Asia, to entertain guests with lively jazz tunes. Jimmy will also be accompanied by local talent Grace Natalie.

Set to commence on March 4, the Jazz Weekends will take place at the resort’s restaurants starting with a “Friday Jazz Dinner” at Boneka Restaurant, a sumptuous buffet that will kick off at 6pm. Meanwhile, “Saturday Jazz Legends” at the King Cole Bar will commence at 7pm with delicious cocktails and canapes along with delightful fire-dance performances. Lastly, the “Sunday Jazz Brunches” at Boneka Restaurant will begin at 12pm and feature signature dishes like lobster omelette, egg nouvelle, foie gras, as well as Wagyu beef steak.

The Friday Jazz Dinners are priced at Rp 790,000 nett per person with the Sunday Jazz Brunches at Rp 690,000 nett per person, while no cover will be charged for the “Saturday Jazz Legends”.
