Located in the heart of Singapore, YOTEL officially opened its doors to the public in October 2017. The 30-storey building is situated within the 2.2km shopping and entertainment district of Orchard Road. YOTEL Singapore’s central location allows easy access to the Art Science Museum, Clarke Quay, and Singapore Botanic Gardens, a UNESCO Heritage Site.

General Manager Brendan Daly commented: “We are receiving fantastic feedback from our guests about the YOTEL concept. We believe that our cabins, inspired by first-class travel, and the Club Lounge on TEN will be in high demand by guests who are looking for something different with a touch of magic. In line with YOTEL’s tech- forward reputation, the experience is going to be enhanced a little further by the addition of new YOTEL-iers: our two robots!” YOTEL Singapore is set to boast the world’s first multipoint hotel delivery robots, the first of their kind to be equipped with simultaneous localisation and mapping (SLAM), allowing them to navigate around the hotel autonomously.

Similar to the chain’s other developments across the globe, YOTEL Singapore aims to integrate luxury into smartly designed spaces, comprising 610 rooms or cabins of different types built while taking into account the different needs and budget of travellers. From a premium cabin to a lavish suite, YOTEL aims to provide affordable accommodation while offering an experience that rivals other luxury hotels.

Each cabin features its trademark Smartbed with gel-cooled mattresses, rejuvenating monsoon rain showers, a Technowall with adjustable mood lighting, and smart TVs with multiple power points for easy connectivity. Premium super-strength WiFi connection is uniform across every corner of the hotel, while the club lounge “TEN” features a state-of-the-art gym, a 20m pool, and a terrace.

One could simply enjoy cocktails while soaking up the sun at the pool deck, but TEN is also home to Grains & Hops Restaurant, which tantalises guests’ taste buds with the different flavours of Asia, as well as the hotel’s very own craft beer brew. In addition to the new city hotel, YOTEL will also open YOTELAIR in the upcoming mixed-use development of Jewel Changi Airport in 2019.
