Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide Inc. is set to dazzle Jakarta with the city’s very first Westin hotel. Located on the top floors of Jakarta’s tallest building, The Westin Jakarta is going to provide guests with views that no other hotel can.

The hotel will be housed in GAMA Tower in the heart of the central business and commercial district, also known as the “golden triangle”. Even in this crowded area, the tower stands out with its gleaming mirrored facade and a rooftop that resembles a crown.

The Westin Jakarta will have 272 spacious guest rooms, and 3,000 square metres of event space. Each room will have the iconic “Westin Heavenly Bed”, ensuring the utmost comfort for weary guests. In addition, guests will be treated to uninterrupted views of the city. The Westin Jakarta is also going to be popular with guests looking to hold events or wedding parties: the pillarless Grand Ballroom will be able to accommodate up to 1,500 guests.

Dining options will also leave guests coming back for more. They will include Henshin, opening in November, which is the first Peruvian-Japanese fusion restaurant with an alfresco rooftop bar; Seasonal Tastes, which will offer Asian and Western cuisines with an interactive kitchen for a personalised, made-to-order all-day dining experience, and Daily Treats, which is a deli that serves freshly baked pastries and coffee.

Healthy living is a big part of the Westin culture. An abundance of delicious and healthy options will be available, even for children. A selection of dishes from SuperFoodsRX, nourishing fresh juices from The Juicery and artisanal cocktails will be available for all guests to enjoy. Guests will also be able to borrow fitness gear for use during their stay thanks to a partnership with New Balance: the amenities will be delivered guests’ rooms within 15 minutes of the request.

The Westin Jakarta open its doors in August. Click here to visit the website for more information.
