Indonesia is home to the world’s fourth largest populace and stretches over an archipelago of thousands of islands. These facts alone bring forth the question: isn’t it about time for “Pride of Indonesia?”

Mr. Antonio Seward, General Manager of Southeast Asia for Audemars Piguet, feels the time is now: “For more than a decade, Audemars Piguet has gained massive support from its wonderful Indonesian collectors. We are excited to create this exclusive timepiece in honour of this beautiful country.”

This June, a new member will be joining the family of Audemars Piguet’s “Prides” – the Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph Pride of Indonesia. Audemars Piguet is proud to create a rare timepiece that captures Indonesia’s unique spirit and heritage, where its citizens come together in a fusion of ethnic and cultural diversities.

Audemars Piguet also felt that it is time to value this beautiful nation and the brand has announced that they will auction off the first ever Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph Pride of Indonesia during the launch event, and donate all proceeds to benefit local heritage and cultural icons.

Since its successful transition to democracy, Indonesia has managed to demonstrate stable and positive economic performance while maintaining political stability. In recognition of this prosperity Audemars Piguet, as the oldest fine watchmaking manufacturer which remains in the hands of its founding families, proudly invested in the Pride of Indonesia.

The Pride range of Audemars Piguet pays homage to some of the most powerful nations in the world including Russia, China, Mexico, Argentina and Thailand. Each timepiece displays a unique element of the culture they represent, and the Pride of Indonesia is the latest addition to this family of timeless commemorative pieces.
