A third-generation Bentley Continental GT was the inspiration for Breitling’s latest limited edition, the Bentley GT Dark Sapphire. The design of this highly covetable timepiece—only 500 will be produced—is imbued with elements of the iconic car, including an ultra-light chassis that is enhanced by a dark sapphire dial, a diamond motif echoing the car’s interior and dashboard controls, and the Bentley GT rubber strap.
After two successful collaborative creations launched in 2012, Italian luxury powerhouses Bulgari and Maserati have again joined forces to create two new watches for the Octo Maserati line: the GranSport and the GranLusso (pictured). Capturing the elegance and sportiness of both brands, the avant-garde GranLusso is a stunning piece, with its case, hands and indications crafted in
pink gold and paired with a strap of brown perforated calf leather.
The 42mm Mille Miglia Racing Colours chronographs are now available in five striking new colours to celebrate the watchmaker’s 30-year partnership with Italy’s famous Mille Miglia motorsport race. The colours pay tribute to countries that competed in the race in the 1930s. Green (pictured) is for the United Kingdom. Only 300 pieces will be produced.
A visually and technically magnificent creation, the Bugatti Type 390 is a homage to the fast and furious Bugatti Chiron two-seat sports car. Incredible power, sleek aesthetics and masterful mechanics meet in this stunning piece, where a case in white or rose gold houses a 302-part tubular-shaped movement, an open dial and a race car-inspired removable engine block, all of which are sealed inside concave sapphire crystals.
The watchmaker lifts the curtain on its new partnership with Aston Martin and Aston Martin Racing with two special edition chronographs. The colours, patterns and materials of the Carrera Calibre Heuer 01 (pictured) and the Formula 1 Aston Martin recall details of the iconic sports cars. In the former, the marque’s distinctive geometric shapes are reflected in the hexagonal pattern of the skeletonised dial, and the lines of the solid steel case evoke speed and the race track.
Pioneering, current and dynamic, Zenith and carmaker Land Rover share qualities aptly captured in the Chronomaster El Primero Range Rover Velar special edition chronograph. Introducing a new brushed grey dial with copper-toned details, the piece also features a new black rubber strap coated with black perforated calfskin—the same hide used on Range Rovers—and a 42mm ceramised aluminium case that echoes the Range Rover’s chassis.
