Here's what we know so far about the upcoming union and also some tidbits about the newest royal couple...

How was the engagement proposal?

On an interview, Prince Harry revealed that he proposed the lady on one knee while they were cooking a roast dinner during a relax evening in his cottage. No need to wait for long time, Meghan said ‘yes’ straight away!

How about the ring?

Prince Harry specially designed the ring and it has a gold band and a large diamond from Botswana with the outer part adorned with diamonds from Princess Diana’s personal collection. Why Botswana? Because Botswana has a special meaning for the couple, as they have spent almost a year and a half over there, according to Kensington Palace. Prince Harry also spent a considerable amount of time there when he was little. The ring contains diamonds not only of considerable monetary value, but also high sentimental value as it is a special tribute to his late mother, rendering the ring priceless.

Where will they stay after getting married?

The happy couple will marry sometime around spring 2018 and they will live at Harry’s current resident, the Nottingham Cottage at Kensington Palace.

What will be Meghan and Prince Harry’s title?

Meghan will be a duchess, similar with Kate Middleton back in 2011 where she becomes the Duchess of Cambridge Meghan Markle will also become an HRH The Duchess of Sussex if Prince Harry becomes the Duke of Sussex. She will also be a senior royal after marrying Harry and joining the Windsors.
