Practices martial arts
Joe got on track with martial arts at a fairly young age. He mastered in wushu, judo, taekwondo, and pencak silat, so you can only image how strong he must be. After many years of practicing, Joe enjoys judo, a physical, mental, and moral pedagogy, and started a career with it. During his time as a judo athlete, he won tons of medals, ranging from a gold at the 1999 South East Asia Judo championships, a silver at the 2007 ASEAN games, and lots more.
Burns what he eats
The phenomenal actor eats everything nutritious and works out twice as hard burning those calories. You know what they say: balance is key, and Joe knows how to balance best. He believes it is important to work hard by taking part in any form of exercise that suits you best. Interestingly, he does not have a specific diet.
Hydrates enough and sleeps well
Two other important aspects of staying fit are to always stay hydrated and making sure to get the perfect number of hours of sleep every night. As every other healthy person says, water is extremely important for your body to carry out its functions, and oh, the wonders it carries! Moving on, Joe says he aims for an adequate number of hours when it comes to sleeping every night in order to stay in good health.
Another important aspect that has gotten Joe those well-defined muscles is his morning routine. If you’re aiming for a healthier 2019, maybe start your morning like Joe does with a set of sit-ups to maintain your posture and muscle health.
A 5km run
At this stage, we’re already mega-inspired by Joe’s fitness routine, but it only gets better! Every morning, Joe does a 5km run, which burns loads of calories. This run also helps him stay fresh and bright throughout the day. The father-of-two believes running is the easiest sport and can be done by anyone. Joe also says: “Besides being good for our body, running helps us to focus and discard negative energy.” What say you hit the tracks tomorrow morning just like Joe does?
“You don’t need to go to the gym, all you need is a pair of shoes”
One of Joe’s most inspiring quotes is none other than: “You don’t need to go to the gym, all you need is a pair of shoes.” Joe says this confidently and believes that it is important you can coach yourself with an exercise that suits you best because you know the strength and capability of your body best.
