In July this year, Gucci celebrated its fall-winter fashion show with a special collection that commemorates the inspiration and thinking behind it. The “Gucci Manifesto” collection makes use of the motif of the “mask” as showcased at the fall/winter 2019 fashion show, and features text discussing the cultural significance of this item, reproduced from the show’s press release. In particular, the collection champions one key message throughout: “The mask as a cut between visible and invisible.” To see the collection, please click here.

A timeless icon, the Lady Dior never ceases to reinvent itself, like today’s woman. An ode to femininity’s multiple nature, this manifesto harmonizes with every personality. It is an emblem of an inherently refined, self-assured, trans-generational attitude. This bag represents the quintessence of the Dior spirit, its signature codes and haute couture savoir-faire. For the fourth edition of Dior lady art, eleven artists from around the world have participated in the game of metamorphosis by rendering the iconic bag as a unique piece of art.

From one horizon to the next, from Mexico to Japan and Portugal to the United States, the artists Joana Vasconcelos, Rina Banerjee, Wang Guangle, Marguerite Humeau, Jia Lee, Maria Nepomuceno, Mickalene Thomas, Kohei Nawa, Eduardo Terrazas, Raqib Shaw and Athi-Patra Ruga each, in their own way, made it sublime, infusing its architecture and charms with their individual universe and inspirations.

3/5 Bvlgari Serpenti Seduttori

Inspired by the golden moments of a woman’s life, Serpenti Seduttori is the latest incarnation of one of Bvlgari’s most recognizable cult watches: Serpenti. Born to be gold and created as an homage to the most precious element of all, time, it captures the breathtaking beauty that weaves its way, like a golden thread, through the hours of our lives.

A masterpiece of modern glamour in stainless steel, or stainless steel and rose gold with or without diamonds, three new Serpenti Seduttori timepieces complete the collection. Evoking all the richness of a woman’s life and the incredible preciousness of time, the new models align with the brand’s aesthetic codes. In other words, they are distinctively Italian — and unquestionably Bvlgari.
